Did Jesus appear in the sky in the Philippines?

AccuWeather reported a stunning cloud formation that resembled Jesus Christ following a Catholic Mass in the Philippines.

The cloud formation occurred above the Basilica Minore of Our Lady of Peñafrancia in Naga City in Camarines Sur in the Philippines on June 14, 2025 before Mass on National Youth Day.

National Youth Day is a Filipino celebration that “emphasizes serving community and country.”

The Catholic Church also celebrated the feast of the Holy Trinity on the weekend of June 14.

According to AccuWeather, “People in the Philippines were stunned when a cloud resembling Jesus appeared following a Mass.”

The now-viral AccuWeather post generated thousands of views and comments.

Here’s what some people said about the Jesus cloud formation in the sky:

“Luke 21:28,” one user mentioned. “This verse is part of Jesus’ discourse on the end times. He tells his followers that when they see certain events begin to happen, they should ‘look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.’”

Regardless of weather or not this cloud formation is Jesus in the sky, let us remember that Jesus is always with us, especially in the Eucharistic tabernacle!
