More of this please! 👏

On October 14, 2025, Napa Institute hosted their annual Eucharistic Procession on the streets of New York City.

The public event began with prayer services and Mass at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral. Thousands of religious and laity then processed from the cathedral and through several of Manhattan’s busiest streets during rush hour.

The Eucharistic procession even halted traffic!

Prior to this beautiful public display of the Catholic faith, “The Chosen” actor Jonathan Roumie surprised visitors with an appearance. He led prayers and provided a reflection.

During one of his reflections, the Jesus actor addressed the non-Catholics attending. He invited them to become Catholic so they can receive the Eucharist.

Jonathan Roumie Says, “Become Catholic!” to Non-Catholics Who Want to Receive the Eucharist

“The Eucharist is my express train to heaven,” he says.

Roumie explains that “every moment of every day” our mission should be “to unite ourselves to Jesus in the most humble and subtle ways.”

“You don’t have to play Jesus on TV to be Jesus to the world around you,” he continues.

“And in his most humble form of bread and wine, this is where we find Him. This form, this food is how we take up the mantle of mission. The program urged to us by St. Carlo by making the Eucharist part of our daily life if we can. And if you’re not Catholic and you can’t receive and want to become Catholic, that’s all you got to do.”

Roumie also elaborates on how the Eucharist became his strength while filming the Passion and Death of Jesus in “The Chosen.”

Let us pray for an increased devotion to the Holy Eucharist!
