Let us pray against these horrible acts of desecration against the Eucharist!
In a clip from Raymond Arroyo’s “Arroyo Grande” podcast, Catholic priest Fr. Gerald Murray blasts Apple TV+ for desecrating the Eucharist in the show, “Your Friends and Neighbors.”

In the show, a couple goes on a date, breaks into a church, steals the Eucharist from the tabernacle, desecrates it, and consumes the consecrated hosts as a snack.
Arroyo comments that the show knows “exactly what they’re doing,” and asks Fr. Murray for his opinion.
Fr. Murray refers to this horrible act of desecration as “reprehensible, outrageous, and so offensive to a large percentage of the American population, let alone of the world.
“It is coming from the media empire, which basically says the Church is an insensitive group of people who regularly offend people and shouldn’t do it, and they do the exact opposite of what they claim other people should be doing. They offend people and they do it knowingly.
“This is absolutely insane,” Fr. Murray says. “Apple is a huge corporation which has a huge audience and religiously, diverse population. Why in the world would they single out a group?”
Catholic Vote Launches Petition to Apple TV+
CatholicVote launched a petition requesting the removal of the offensive episode and an apology from the company.
“We can’t stay silent in the face of such outrageous behavior. Make your voice heard,” the petition reads.
“Join us in demanding that Apple remove this insult to Christ and His Church from Apple TV+ and issue a public apology to the global Catholic community for causing such grave offense.”
The petition generated over 400,000 signatures as of June 23, 2025. Apple has yet to respond to the request.
Fatima Angel’s Prayer of Reparation:
O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifferences by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary I beg the conversion of poor sinners.
