Elon Musk may not be a practicing Christian, but the popular billionare and owner of SpaceX often provides his opinions about God.
Musk made headlines over the past several days for political and business reasons. He surprised the public with his endorsement of Trump following Saturday’s assassination attempt.
Now, Musk is back in the news for moving both SpaceX and X (Formerly Twitter) out of California and into Texas.
Since Musk is trending, we though we’d share four things he has said about God. Although he is not a practicing Christian, there is always hope that one day he will unite his heart with the Lord.
Here are four things Elon Musk has said about God:
1) “Things like ‘turn the other cheek’ are very important, as opposed to ‘an eye for an eye’. An eye for an eye leaves everyone blind.”
2) “I agree with the principles that Jesus advocated. There’s some great wisdom in the teachings of Jesus, and I agree with those teachings.”
3) “Sure, I’ll be saved. Why not?”
4) “Something created the universe.”
Musk sat down for an interview with Christian satire media outlet “The Babylon Bee” in 2022 and discussed his faith.
According to the Babylon Bee, Elon Musk “says yes to Jesus.”
“I agree with the principles that Jesus advocated, and that there is great wisdom in the teachings of Jesus, and I agree with those teachings.
“Things like ‘turn the other cheek’ are very important…as ‘opposed to an eye for an eye.’ An eye for an eye leaves everyone blind. So forgiveness, you know, is important, and treating people as you would wish to be treated…Love they neighbor as thyself. Very important.”
