Actress Patricia Heaton revealed on Instagram that Nashville Exorcist Father Dan Reehil blessed her newly renovated home.

Heaton is known for her roles in “Everybody Loves Raymond” and “Malcolm in the Middle.” She often vocally expresses her deep love for the Catholic faith, especially over the last few years.

Heaton said in this Instagram post that Father Dan Reehil, also the pastor of Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Columbia, Tenn., that she invited him over to bless her home.

“Renovations are finally finished so @fatherdanreehil came over and blessed our #Nashville home!” Heaton wrote. “Does anyone else have their house or car blessed? Growing up my dad always had our car blessed. Father Dan is the pastor at St Catherine of Sienna church in Columbia, TN. (He’s also the diocesan exorcist for Nashville.”

Heaton also shared a YouTube link entitled, “Michael & The Exorcist: ‘I Saw Her Crawl Up a Wall’” about Father Reehil’s “extraordinary life.”

Over 700 accounts commented on Heaton’s post about the blessing, including several Catholics.

Patricia Heaton’s followers answered her question: “Does anyone else have their house or car blessed?”

Yes, as a Catholic we always have our cars and house blessed,” Anna Monsanto responded. “Even on birthdays, gotta get blessed.

“Also when I was pregnant with my four kids,” she continued, “I purposely went to church where a Bishop celebrated Mass and received his blessing on my tummy. My babies would always kick or move inside my belly while being blessed. “

Wendy Morgan Gamache, one of Heaton’s other followers, said a priest blessed one of their homes, but “otherwise, we’ve blessed it with blessed chalk ourselves.”

“I think we’re going to invite our Deacon over to bless our house this year,” Gamache said. “And when things seem a little crazy and off, I go through and sprinkle all the rooms with a quick prayer.”

Marcia Zumwalt Pascuzzi, another follower, explained that her family consecrates their home to the Sacred Heart of Jesus with the Holy Mass.

“Yes, we and our kiddos have always [had] our home blessed and we also had a Mass in our home consecrating our family to the Sacred Heart of Jesus,” Pascuzzi wrote.

“It’s a beautiful commitment that follows your family no matter where you live,” she continued. “It’s gotten hard to find a priest to do, it but I bet your Father Dan would. He sounds like a gem. Can’t wait to watch the videos. Blessings to your family.”
