Renowned exorcist Father Carlos Martins published photos of a visit he received from actor Mel Gibson.

The Catholic priest and director of the Vatican ministry, “Treasures of the Church” published the photos on May 8, 2024.

Treasures of the Church is a ministry dedicated to bringing relics to the faithful, providing an “experience of the living God through an encounter with the relics of his saints in the form of an exposition.”

Father Martins is also the producer and host of “The Exorcist Files” podcast.

The priest published two photos: one of him and Gibson and second photo of Gibson holding St. Jude’s arm relic. The relic has been on a pilgrimage tour for the past year and is currently touring California. Click here for the schedule.

“A friend came by to pick up one of my Saint Jude books yesterday,” Father Martins wrote of his Mel Gibson visit. “He loves Saint Jude.”

Gibson is known for his work on several Hollywood projects, along with his efforts to promote Catholic values in media.

He produced and directed “The Passion of the Christ,” worked with Mark Wahlberg on the 2022 “Father Stu” film, and now works with Catholic actor and director David Henrie. Gibson is also reportedly working on a sequel to “The Passion of the Christ” entitled, “Resurrection.”

Several social media users expressed their gratitude for both Father Martins and Gibson.

One person said that “Mel Gibson is fighting the good fight.”

“Mel Gibson is fighting the good fight for the Lord,” the user expressed. “He definitely needs St. Jude by his side. ❤️ You are awesome, Mel.”

Laila Pecson told Father Martins that he introduced her to St. Jude.

“I never knew that St. Jude Thaddeus was my friend before,” Pecson said. “Through you, I’ve been introduced to my new friend. Thank you, Fr. Carlos!”

Another woman said she “loves Mel Gibson and his acting,” explaining why the post was “special” to her.

“I love Mel Gibson and his acting!” she said. “I also went to a parish called St. Jude growing up for 18 years, so this is such a special post.”
