Did you know Little Rascal’s actor Bug Hall made a cameo in the “Cabrini” movie?
The 2024 Angels Studios Film released a film on the incredible life of Mother Frances Xavier Cabrini, an Italian Catholic nun who immigrated to the United States of America and founded 67 institutions worldwide, including schools, orphanages, and hospitals.
The film follows the saint’s heroic endeavor to help the poorest of the poor on the streets of New York City in 1889.
Bug Hall, who is known for his leading roles in 1994’s “The Little Rascals” and 1995’s “The Big Green,” along with other Disney films, published a photo of the cameo he made in “Cabrini.”
In a very subtle scene as the character Christopher Weddington, the actor appears in a suit and hat, along with a mustache on his face. He makes fun of Mother Cabrini on the streets of New York as he says, “Oink, Oink.”

Hall left Hollywood to live on a homestead with his wife and five children. Under the advisement of clergy, he also took a vow of poverty. He assured his Instagram followers that he is “still retired and devoted to lady poverty.”
“No, I did not compromise my position about Hollywood or Catholics participating in film,” Hall wrote. “I was on set during production three years ago, shortly after my self-cancellation.
“The filmmakers are good friends of mine and asked if I could spare a couple of days to solve a unique production issue on the second unit. I ran into Alejandro [Gómez Monteverde] (the director) and he was excited to see me there.
“He said ‘God works in mysterious ways, hermano! An actor didn’t show up and now here you are!’
“I refused, but he kept at it until to deny would have required excessive obstinacy. He’s a dear friend and he was asking for help. I’m very glad my last work was that role in that film for people I love.”
